1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Stirring Utensil

Candy Thermometer

Instructions

Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, chocolate milk, condensed milk, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Boil, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 234°F (soft-ball stage) on a candy thermometer. This should take around 15 minutes.

Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

Pour into prepared pan and immediately add Halloween sprinkles! Cool completely before cutting.

A few helpful notes:

Stir constantly to prevent scorching — chocolate milk has natural sugars that can burn faster than plain milk.

If you don’t have a candy thermometer, you can test it by dropping a small spoonful of the hot mixture into cold water — it should form a soft, pliable ball that flattens when removed from the water.

Once it hits the right temperature, remove it from heat immediately — if it cooks too long, the fudge will turn grainy or too firm.
