Classic and Creamy Maola Banana Pudding Ice Cream

If there’s a dessert that feels like a warm hug, it’s banana pudding — and now, you can enjoy it in the form of creamy, homemade ice cream. Our Classic and Creamy Maola Banana Pudding Ice Cream takes everything you love about this Southern staple and spins it into something cold, smooth, and absolutely delicious.

Made with real Maola Whole Milk and Maola Heavy Whipping Cream, this recipe is rooted in local flavor. Our milk is sourced from local family farms, which gives every spoonful a fresh, dairy-rich foundation you can taste. With a ripe banana, a touch of instant pudding mix, and a swirl of marshmallow fluff, the texture is smooth and silky, while the flavor is unmistakably nostalgic.

Crushed vanilla wafers take it to the next level — sprinkle them on top, or double up for that classic crunch in every bite. Whether you’re making this for summer gatherings or just treating yourself at home, it’s a scoop that delivers comfort, flavor, and farm-fresh quality in every bite.

This is banana pudding, reimagined with real milk, local ingredients, and a deliciously smooth finish.

2 tbsp marshmallow fluff

Optional: Crushed vanilla wafers for topping

Equipment

Tabletop Ice Cream Maker

Pint Container

Bowl

Blender

Instructions

Blend all ingredients well (don’t use the full pudding packet — just 1 tbsp; more can thicken too much).

Pour into pint container.

Freeze for 24 hours (keep flat).

Spin on “Ice Cream” (or similar) mode.

If crumbly, add 1–2 tbsp milk and re-spin.

Top with crushed vanilla wafer cookies and enjoy!

Pro tip: We doubled down on the cookie topping.
