Maola Eggnog French Toast

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of Maola Eggnog
1 loaf a thick bread like brioche
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
4 tbsp. Butter
Maple syrup and/or powdered sugar for topping

Frying Pan
Measuring Cup
Mixing Bowl
Whisk

Instructions

  1. Whisk together eggs, Maola eggnog, vanilla, and spices in a mixing bowl until thoroughly blended.
  2. 1 tablespoon of butter to a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Dip bread into the egg mixture making sure it is completely submerged. Let the excess drip off.
  4. Cook each side of the bread until golden brown, roughly 4 minutes each side. Add more butter between batches.
  5. Top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, berries, etc. and serve immediately!
