Wes Kent is a first-generation dairy farmer who founded Winding River Farms in 2000. He, his partner, and their two children live on the farm, where caring for the land and animals is part of everyday life. Their farm includes dairy, poultry, and beef, along with various crops.
To keep their cows calm and comfortable, the Kent family uses modern robotic milking equipment that allows the cows to be milked whenever they choose. This helps nurture a low-stress environment for the herd.
They work alongside a small, dedicated team that shares a commitment to excellent animal care. Together, they make sure the cows are healthy, well-fed, and raised in clean, comfortable barns with plenty of space to rest.
