Maola farmer Willie works endlessly to preserve his family’s farming legacy while giving back to his local community. Farmers from the surrounding neighborhood, both young and old, share resources and knowledge to keep their farming community vibrant. Willie makes investments on his farm which center around better care for his cows and the land.
“I’ve been doing this for so long, but I can’t imagine doing anything else. For me, it’s all about community,” he says.
