At Harvue Farms in Virginia, dairy farming is more than a job—it’s a family tradition. Ashley and her husband are part of the fourth generation, caring for their herd of over 300 cows on 800 acres. A farmer with Maola Local Dairies since 1949, Harvue has built its legacy on quality, care, and community.
Ashley’s days are busy and purposeful. From caring for baby calves to overseeing herd health alongside her husband, her role is hands-on and full of heart. Outside the barn, she’s a mom of young athletes, making health and nutrition central to her family’s routine. She knows firsthand the importance of choosing foods that don’t just fill you up, but fuel you to keep moving.
That’s why she’s proud to see milk evolve to meet families’ needs—offering more protein, less sugar, and added fiber while staying true to real dairy. For Ashley, it’s a reflection of the same values her family lives by on the farm: focusing on what is real, nutritious, and built to last for generations.
“We truly believe that well-cared-for cows will, in turn, take care of us by giving a high-quality product,” says Ashley Hardesty
