Oatmeal Grazin' Raisin Muffins

1 cup Maola milk
1/4 cup shortening (part margarine and Crisco)
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup rolled oats
1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut up shortening into coarse crumbs. Stir in oats. Combine egg, Maola milk, and brown sugar; beat well. Stir into dry ingredients. Add raisins. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Combine white sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 325° or 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not over bake. Makes 12 muffins.
